I have always wanted to work with animals, but the first part of my working life was with children. I was a secondary school Science teacher for fourteen years, before I set up a business caring for other peoples pets.
This experience in education has given me the skills to coach owners to “teach dog”.
In the same way teachers need to be highly qualified, I believe our dogs deserve no less from trainers and behaviourists. I gained a distinction in my level 5 diploma in Applied Animal Behaviour. I have also undertaken advanced practical courses and shadowed several trainers and behaviourists.
I never stop learning and am currently working on my level 6 qualification to fulfil the role of Clinical Animal Behaviourist.
I am currently owned by three dogs, Daisy the Dobermann, Sparky the Greyhound and Blade the Lurcher. I live in Essex with my husband and son.
